2010 Assessment
The OPOA Board proposed annual assessment increase of $15.80 has passed The Board would like to thank all those who attended our special meetings over the last five months. We would especially like to say “Thank You” to the property owners who came to the very chilly December 1st meeting. We were able to reach a quorum vote with an overwhelming majority voting FOR the increase. This will add an additional $16,000 to our OPOA budget, allowing us to begin needed maintenance to our private common areas. Updates on which major projects chosen for 2010 will be included in upcoming newsletters.
Your new annual assessment is now $149.00. This mailing will serve as your 2010 Property Owners Assessment Due Notice. Make note that any dues not received by January 31, 2010 will be considered past due and subject to a late charge of $15.00. Please send your payment in as soon as possible.
Employment Opportunities
Lifeguard Openings
Several lifeguard positions are open for the 2010 summer season which begins in May and ends in September. Those applying must be at least 15 years of age, have completed a certified lifesaving course which includes CPR training, and be available to work from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Beginning pay is $7.00 per hour. Call the OPOA office at 753-4770 to request an application in January.
North Little Rock News
Please do not rake your leaves into the street The city of NLR is considering making this a code violation which could result in fines. Large mounds of leaves on our streets make drainage more difficult and cause hazardous driving conditions.

Recent Neighborhood Complaints
When you are walking your dog, please ‘Scoop the Poop’. Your neighbors, those playing at the park and walking the trail would appreciate this. Outings can be ruined by running into what you have left behind. Also, please do not throw your leaves into the greenbelt areas !
Park Bathroom Access
Please note the park bathroom set-up with keyless entry has been closed for the winter. It will reopen when the weather warms again next spring.
