The Overbrook Property Owners’ Association is organized as an Arkansas nonprofit corporation. Membership in the Association is automatic with land ownership. Any person owning a lot in Overbrook is a member of the Association and has the right to use and enjoy the Associations facilities.

Please note, fences, walls, storage buildings, room additions, swimming pools, decks, TV satellites, dog pens, etc., must have a city building permit and also must be approved by the Board of Directors of OPOA, before they are erected. Please read Paragraph (13) on page 11 in your Bill of Assurance for details. Overbrook Addition has several building restrictions that go beyond the restrictions required in the cities of North Little Rock and Sherwood. You are encouraged to call the OPOA office before beginning a project.

The authority of the Association is vested in the members. The day to day management of the Association is delegated to a Board of Directors composed of 9 Overbrook Association volunteer members. The Board of Directors are elected by the membership for 3 year terms. Three Directors are elected each year. This Association fosters interest and pride in our community by maintaining standards needed to uphold the tangible and intangible value of our homes. The Associations purpose is to stabilize and preserve the desirability of the neighborhood through the years. 

The Overbrook homeowner has a legal duty attaching to the ownership of his lot to support the Association by paying a yearly assessment. The current assessment is set at $149.00 due on January 1st of the current year. These funds are used to maintain the park and greenbelt areas for the benefit and enjoyment of all of our members.
